  • 5. Chronological Resumes List jobs in reverse chronological order-most recent jobs first. Organization, location, title, dates Brief description of job responsibilities Use action verbs and sentence fragments Pay attention to verb use Stress what is relevant to the job objective
  • 6. Functional Resume Emphasizes skill areas and functions Useful for people who have a lot of experience that seems unrelated, or having no “real” work experience Identifies skill areas relevant to the career area of interest.
