    • History Acid rain was first found in Manchester , England . In 1852, Robert Angus Smith found the relationship between acid rain and atmospheric pollution.
    • Definition The term "acid rain" is commonly used to mean the deposition of acidic components in rain, snow, fog, dew, or dry particles.
    • What is Acid Rain!!!!!!? When fossil fuel such as coal , gasoline & fuel oil are burned they emit oxides of sulphur , carbon & nitrogen into the air . These oxides combined with moisture in the air to form sulphuric acid , carbonic acid & nitric acid. When it rains or snows the acid are brought to earth is Acid Rain .
