Kedar Tal

Journey starts from Haridwar (295 m.)

On the way to Gangotri (282 km.)

Following the path of holy Ganga ….

Some time so far…

Sometime so close…………

Crossing all the obstructions…

Gangotri (3140 m. ) at the day end..

Next day morning preparing to begin the journey….

Our trek begin…………..

Left the Gangotri behind………..

Taking the Kedar Ganga beside ……

Accompanied by a lot of nameless flowers…

… Going ahead on the rugged terrain

Whispering with the mountain trees….

Far away is Thalai Sagar peak, Kedar Ganga flowing below… Bhoj Kharak

Rest for a while

Crossing the sliding zones …

Leaving Kedar Ganga far below…

… ..Bhoj Kharak (3780 m.) at the day end

Gossiping in the tent

Next day morning in Bhoj Kharak Thalai Sagar peak

Leaving our foot prints on Bhoj Kharak…

Second day trek begin…

Left the clouds behind ….

Following the path of kedar ganga….

Crossing the sliding zones (Gila Pahar) …..

Meadow of Kedar Kharak (4270m.) at the day end

Evening clouds covered Kedar kharak

Next day morning in Kedar Kharak

The first sunlight….

… .Brightened the Thalaisagar peak

Left the clouds far below ……

… ..Third day trek begin

Crossing the river ….

And the rocks ....

And ice ….

Accompanied by the icy mountains…

Surrounding us

Rest for a while…….

Reflection of Thalaisagar in the spot of stagnant water

Way to kedar tal

After a few hours …….

Reached at Kedar Tal (4912 m.)

The lake of heaven encircled by the peaks like ThalaiSagar, Jogin1, Jogin2 etc…

After lunch, left the tent far away ….

Moving towards Thalaisagar …

Next day morning …..

Sun rise on the mountain

Promising to come back again…..

Fourth day journey begin….. To the way back home

Passing Kedar Kharak …

… . And Bhoj kharak

Left the flowers behind …..

Gangotri at the day end

Next day morning, Left Gangotri …

Crossing all the obstructions…

Passed Uttar Kashi

And Chamba Chaukhamba peak

Journey ends at Haridwar

Left a lot of sweet memories far away on the lap of the Himalaya…
