Baron Pierre de CoubertinBaron Pierre de Coubertin was born in Paris, France 1863on the first of January.Coubertin was part of the committee that brought backthe ancient olympics and made it the modern olympics.They made more events to compete in.He died on the 2nd September 1937, aged 74.The IOC was founded by Coubertin and four years laterthe first modern olympics were held in Athens, Greece.

The silver medalresembles the second place man or woman. And the bronzeresembles the third place man or woman.
