  • 3. BACKGROUND: SCOREBOARD ROUND 1, 2 AND 3§  Accurate data is vital for our industry to learn and grow. The Scoreboard Global Metrics survey was initiated by Les Mills with the support of Agents in all regions to review the industry.§  The survey is designed to record and track accurate club and group fitness attendance data, for both Les Mills and our competitors.§  Attendance is the key metric in our industry. It’s our most basic success measure and the driver of sustainable profit. It’s also our biggest risk.§  Almost 3,300 clubs have taken part in the three rounds of the survey. However the survey is still in its infancy and we must encourage more clubs to participate so that we can continue to build robust data and provide insight into industry trends.§  This data reminds us of the power and potential of group fitness; and in particular how Les Mills group fitness programs can help the fitness industry fill classes, maximise club capacity and build engaging and profitable clubs.§  The following report is a summary of key insights and considerations. It also highlights Agent-specific territory results.§  For the most part, local sample sizes were still too small to make strong comparisons with global averages, however we have included this information so you can see the potential of this data in future.

WE KNOW THAT GROUP EXERCISE ….ATTRACTS NEW MEMBERS-60% of people choose group exercise as the #1 important service offered by a health club.MOTIVATES MEMBERS AND KEEPS THEM SATISFIED -46% of club members say group exercise is important to keep them motivated as a member-Over 40% of health club members cite “variety of classes” as one of the key features they enjoy about a typical club experience.GROWS ATTENDANCE-Satisfied group exercise members refer people 3 times more than other club members.-More members attend group exercise more often on average than members who do not (80% attend 3+ times per week)RETAINS ATTENDANCE-One extra visit per week from each member increases retention by around 3% *-More members who participate in group exercise classes intend to renew their health club membership than members who do not participate in group fitness classes (72% vs. 63%)IHRSA/HCD/Les Mills (March, 2009)* FIA UK 9

SCOREBOARD REMINDS US OF THE POWER ANDPOTENTIAL OF GROUP FITNESS •  Highlights the opportunity that 5 genres account for almost 75% of group exercise attendances •  Reminds us that club attendance is seasonal but highlights that group exercise attendance is more season proof than non-group exercise attendance •  Off-peak/low season total attendance declines 14% •  Non-group exercise attendance declines 17% •  Group exercise attendance declines 9% •  Les Mills group exercise declines only 8% •  Highlights that even during seasonal fluctuations, Les Mills consistently owns 33% of share of group exercise attendances •  33% of the 9.3M Group exercise attendances during peak season •  33% of the 8.6M group exercise attendances during off-peak season 12

MULTIPLY Through powerful partnerships multiply membership and grow long-term sustainable successful businesses. 14

ROUND 3 HIGHLIGHTS OPPORTUNITIESLOOKING FORWARD •  Highlights the seasonality curve affecting club attendance through the year. •  The year starts high, dips and builds to the next year. •  Demonstrates the increase in club and group exercise attendance after the ‘low’ of the off-peak season •  Post off-peak total attendance increases 13% (was -14%) •  Non-group exercise attendance increases 15% (was -17%) •  Group exercise attendance increases 10% (was -9%) •  Shows that ONLY group exercise has regained the attendance losses following off-peak fluctuations. 17

ROUND 3 HIGHLIGHTS OPPORTUNITIESLOOKING FORWARD •  Shows the power of Les Mills - in that attendance increases are at an even faster pace than non-Les Mills group exercise •  Les Mills group exercise attendance increases 16% where non-Les Mills group exercise increase at 7% (Les Mills decrease was only 8%) •  Les Mills share of group exercise attendance therefore increase from 33% to 35% •  However Les Mills share of total number of classes static •  Highlights the growth in 2 of the 5 genres that account for almost 75% of group exercise attendances. •  Cycling/Spinning increased •  Mind/Body/Yoga/Pilates increased 18

WHAT ARE OUR OPPORTUNITIES?•  MEASURE –  Continued promotion of Scoreboard to showcase the power of group fitness and the impact of Les Mills classes –  Les Mills classes can deliver higher attendances than Non Les Mills Classes –  Les Mills has a program in each of the 5 genres that account for almost 75% of group exercise attendance. –  2 genres have shown growth and the Les Mills programs in these have performed consistently well in Scoreboard.•  MANAGE –  Use the power of the group fitness and Les Mills classes to -keep attracting and keep members motivated. –  Focus on the top genres and dial up the sales/membership focus to attract non- group exercise members –  Focus on the growing genres (i.e. CYCLE, MINDBODY) to engage members. –  Develop enough options to offer the variety - members need to be satisfied. –  Grow Les Mills’ share of timetables and classes through leveraging growing genres and developing more options for existing programs 19

WHAT ARE THE OPPORTUNITIES?•  MULTIPLY –  Increase the % of Les Mills’ classes on timetables and use these programs to enrol non group-exercise members –  This will result in ADDITIONAL growth over and above the expected seasonal peak. (1st Fiscal Quarter high), –  Monitor and report on class numbers regularly to maintaining momentum and sustainablity. 20
