Critical Mass Halloween Bike Ride 2009

The Cyclists met in Union Square at 7pm

<ul><li>There was a saxophonist playing some jazz beside his bike though. </li></ul>
The police paid close attention, but didn’t intercede.
Suddenly, without prompting, the cyclists moved off.
The cyclists waited patiently at the lights, splintering into smaller groups in the process.
The police began stopping isolated cyclists and giving tickets.
The good humor was still largely undiminished.
