3. 2 Key Takeaways
1.) 21D64-2 can match each application Honeywell
Glowfly list.
2.) 21D64-2 meets WR Standards for Strength
Testing and Reliability Testing.
A Comparison Test between HW & WR
showed WR is equal to or better than the HW

4. Questions from the field, and
Answers.
1) Where do we stand in regard to adding brackets to our kit to
expand the offering? Not needed. We can match any
application the Honeywell Glowfly does.
2) How do we compare to HW applications on Carrier and
sealed combustion? 21D64-2 can be installed in the same
models listed in HW.
Also, sealed combustion, 21D64-2 will work, just need to
keep the existing orange gasket.

5. Comparing Brackets
The facts about Honeywell’s bracket:
• Honeywell Bracket “D” is required because
of the shorter length of the Kyocera.
Kyocera will not reach the gas without this
bracket.
• Honeywell has more brackets, because this
is required to match our
White-Rodgers Multi-Purpose Bracket.

11. (Indirect) Impact Test Results
Testing Results:
- Our WR Lab tested – 6 Kyocera (HW) and 6
LeMark (WR)
- Measured resistance before and after testing, and
verified the ignitors worked before and after each
test
Final Results – All Kyocera (HW) and LeMark
(WR) ignitors passed.

13. Strength (Push Force)Testing Results
Testing Results:
- Our WR Lab tested – 6 Kyocera (HW) and 6 LeMark
(WR)
- Test Purpose: To measure at what force the ignitors
would break (failed), by measuring resistance
- Push Force Testing: Applied force, and recorded results.
On the LeMark, applied force on the conductive and non-
conductive (side w/slot) side and on the Kyocera on both
flat sides (narrow and wide)
Final Results – WR was better than HW on the
Strength Testing.
