    Notes on slide 1

I’ll open by talking about how important newspapers are to their communities and to our country, and acknowledging my own love for newspapers.

I will note how newspapers’ audience is dwindling (to 13% of population now)

And newspapers’ advertising is falling even faster than audience

More and more people are getting information and connecting with their world on cell phones (especially true for the high school audience I’ll be addressing.

I’ll tell the students they can read the full C3 blueprint (38 pages, I doubt many will read) on my blog

I’ll explain that we need to move beyond our reliance on advertising and start performing other services for businesses in our communities.

I’ll give a quick overview of the community content aspect of C3

I’ll discuss the personal content aspect of C3

Graduation is the perfect personal-contentexample to discuss with a high-school audience.

I’ll discuss the other aspects of C3

    We’ll discuss C3
