What is sodium? Sodium is a mineral found in many foods. Salt is the main source of sodium in many foods.
Effects of too much sodium Too much sodium can lead to high blood pressure. This will make your heart work harder to keep up with your body. You should only eat 2,300 mg or less of sodium per day.
Saturated fat? What is that? Saturated fat is the “bad” fat. It is more likely to stick to all of your organs and cause problems in your body.
Is all fat bad for me? No!! Unsaturated fat is the “good” fat. Check the nutrition label to see what fat is in your snacks.
How much saturated fat is ok toeat? You should only eat or drink 16 – 20 grams of saturated fat per day.
