    1. Slideshare 1.Open a web browser and type slideshare.net into the address bar. Hit Enter. 2.Click on the Signup link in the top right-hand corner. 3.Enter your details and click Join now. Persevere a little longer and enter “just a few more details” then click Sign Up. 4.Skip the next step by clicking the Skip this button. Breathe deeply, we are now going to upload a document: 1.From the slideshare Upload page click Email upload. 2.Click on the custom email address that is displayed (it will take the form xxx@upload.slideshare.net and will be unique to your slideshare account). Your email client will open a new mail message with the slideshare address in the 'To...' field. 3.In the Subject field of the new mail message give the document a title. 4.In the body of the mail message describe the document. 5.Click 'Send'. Your document will take a few minutes to appear in your Slidespace, so go and make yourself a well-earned cup of coffee! Now let's display your document in Moodle: 1.From your Slidespace click on the thumbnail of the document you would like to embed. 2.Click on the custom link underneath the Embed code. More options will appear. 3.Click in the 'Without related presentations' text box. The code will become highlighted. 4.Copy the code to the clipboard by pressing Ctrl-C. 5.Open a new browser tab or window and visit the staff intranet. Click on the Moodle link (or alternatively type elearning.wintec.ac.nz directly into the address bar). Hit Enter. 6.Choose a course from your 'My courses'. 7.Click 'Turn editing on'. (Wipe the sweet from your brow). 8.In a block click in the 'Add a resource…' drop-down menu and select 'Compose a web page'. Give your new web page a name. 9.Skip over the Summary box to the Full text box. Click on the 'Toggle HTML Source' button. 10.Now paste in the slideshare code by choosing Paste from the Page menu (or press Ctrl+P). 11.Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Save and display'.
