  • The H-Index is not perfect • Gives the “advantage” to established researchers • Older publications generally have been cited more that newer citations • “Favours” disciplines with high-volume research output • Compare the time to send an MS to print versus 3 articles • Creates ambiguity with common names • Smith, Jason.
