  • Your Special Day: Nestled among the lush vineyards of the Blaauwklippen Farm en route to Somerset West lies the best kept secret of the Stellenbosch Winelands – Stellenbosch Lodge Country Hotel. With its picturesque view of the majestic Stellenbosch Mountains we offer a perfect venue for any dream wedding. Our personalized service and attention to detail will make your day an unforgettable event for friends and family.    
  • Venue Options, Information and Facilities:   The Blaauwklippen Room, a thatched Colonial style venue overlooking fertile vineyards, can accommodate a maximum of 120 guests for a Breakfast, Luncheon or Dinner Banquet Function. Should you wish to include a dance floor in your set-up, we can accommodate 100 persons in this venue. We have a ceremony venue (100 Guests) as well as a Buffet Venue which is compulsory for 80+ Guests.
  • Wedding Ceremony: The Wedding Ceremony may be held outside by the swimming pool. See cost page for rates. This rate includes the chairs (no chair cover), and CD player for outside. A PA system is available on request at an additional cost. We can make your wedding a red carpet event. Red carpet available on request at additional cost. The swimming pool area is to be vacated 1,5 hours from start of the ceremony. In the event of rain, we can move the ceremony to De Meester II (if available) at the same cost.

    • Welcome drinks may be held in De Keteltjie or in front of the venue. Per person rate will apply or Corkage fee, should you decide to bring your own beverage.

  • Reception: The quoted price includes the set up, staff and Duty Manager to manage the function/wedding. The client is responsible for the Guest Seating Plans, Guest List and Table numbers. For décor purposes, the function facility is available to you on the day of your function from the time pre-arranged and confirmed with the banquet coordinator only. If the venue is available the day before your big day, the decor can be done the day before at no additional cost . Please confirm in advance with the banquet coordinator (Terms and conditions apply) The Hotel will supply white tablecloths with white overlays. The room will be set up according to your specifications and requirements. There are standard ranges of crockery, cutlery, glassware and serviettes for the venue. Should you require other ranges; the cost of hiring will be for your own account. Bar facilities are available, and can be run as you wish: Cash bar, Bar Tab etc. Should the bar be required to stay open for any additional hours (after 24h), this can be arranged at a charge of R600.00 per hour until latest 01H00am. 10 % Service charge on the menu amount will be levied on all Banquets which will cover your waiters and barman(no additional cost). All prices quoted include 14 % VAT and are subject to amendment without prior notification

Crisp and fresh, with attractive tropical fruit flavours and hints of grassiness   KWV Sauvignon Blanc R 95 This lively wine has tropical fruit and ripe fig aromas accompanied by green grassy flavours. The finish is crisp and lingering.     CHARDONNAY    Stellenzicht Chardonnay R 90 The colour shows the golden straw hues typical of this style of Chardonnay. Aromas of lemon and lime with a slight oak toastiness. Tropical flavours are evident on the palate while hints of lemon and lime provide an fresh finish.   Durbanville Hills Rhinofields Chardonnay R120 The vines on the sun-drenched north-facing slopes at sea level create a spectrum of subtle peach and pear flavours, the grapes from the south- facing slopes contribute tropical banana flavours and sweet citrus aromas to a ripe, full-bodied wine   CHENIN BLANC   Tukulu Chenin Blanc R 65 Full-bodied, oak influenced wine with a fresh lemony acidity   Kleine Zalze Chenin Blanc R 70 Strong lime, tropical, ripe pineapple aromas shows on the nose and are complemented by a long, clean, crisp aftertaste         STELLENBOSCH LODGE is fully licensed and a full range of liquor and beverage will also be available. Corkage fee of R30.00 per bottle of wine or sparkling wine will be charged. (We allow half a bottle of wine/ Sparkling wine per person.
