  • 2. SPECIFIC PURPOSE • To drive nails into stock using compressed air.
  • 3. SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES 1. Keep your FINGERS away from the TIP of the nailer to avoid driving a nail into your finger. 2. NEVER POINT the tip of the nailer towards yourself or anyone else.
  • 4. Specific Safety Con’t 3. Always ensure that YOU and OTHERS working around you are wearing SAFETY GLASSES as compressed air can blast objects into your eyes causing serious injury.
  • 5. USEFULL TIPS 1. Nailers make fastening wood together much EASIER and FASTER. Use them properly or you will lose your PRIVILEGES and be given a hammer instead. 2. Use the correct length of nail for the task at hand. ( ¾” to 1 ¼”)
  • 6. USEFULL TIPS 3. To connect and disconnect the nailer from the air hose, pull the brass sleeve BACK and PUSH the hose firmly TOWARDS the nailer. 4. Hold the nailer UPRIGHT and LEVEL while fastening parts together to avoid nails from blowing out the side of your project.
