What Is Funded Proposal Marketing?

So no doubt by now you’ve probably heard the term “Funded
Proposal Marketing”… am I right?
But what the heck is Funded Proposal Marketing, exactly?
And more importantly, do you really need it in your business?
Well, truth is… the answer to both of those questions might surprise
And since you’ve probably gotten a TON of misinformation on the
topic in the past, I’m going to set everything straight for you right
here in this post.
Now to start with, what exactly IS funded proposal marketing?
Well, quite simply, funded proposal marketing is the term used to describe marketing that pays for itself. In other words,
in the course of marketing, profit is created that covers the cost of the marketing itself. Funded Proposal System
Now since that may seem confusing, let’s use an example. Let’s say that you want to generate MLM leads for your
network marketing business. You start an Adwords campaign where you bid $1.25 per click. You direct the traffic to your
capture page, which has a 33% opt- in rate. In other words, 1 out of 3 people that come to your capture page fill out the
form (opt- in) and become a MLM lead for you.
That means, then, that each lead you generate costs you roughly $3.75. ($1.25 X 3 = $3.75).
You then have 2 options: pay the $3.75/per lead out of your own pocket, OR add a step to your marketing that allows
you to recoup your $3.75/per MLM lead cost.
Obviously the smart choice is to add a step to your marketing to recoup your costs so that you’re marketing is
sustainable and you won’t run out of money before you can generate enough MLM leads for your network marketing
business. That’s the idea of a funded proposal marketing system, and why it’s so important to have in your business.
On the other hand, if you choose to use “old school” network marketing prospecting methods to grow your business,
you’ll end up trying to pay for the cost of your network marketing leads out of your own pocket. This is often in the form of
product samples, marketing flyers, and buying MLM opportunity leads. And for most networke marketers still stuck using
“old school” MLM prospecting techniques, their goal is to try to recoup their network marketing lead costs when and if
they manage to sponsor one of their leads into their downline.
But this actually reveals a MUCH bigger problem, and one of the main reasons “old school” network marketing
prospecting techniques are a suicide way of trying to build your business…
You see, no matter how you attempt to prospect for your business, only about 1- 3% of your MLM leads are going to end
up joining your downline.
So that means if you don’t have a funded proposal marketing plan in place, you’re missing out on 97- 99% of your
That’s why so many networker marketers go broke!
But if you set up a funded proposal marketing system the right way, you’ll be able to make money from the 97-99% of
your leads that decide NOT to join your downline!
Just be careful! Many network marketers that try to put a funded proposal marketing plan into action in their business end
up getting a few crucial pieces wrong and as a result never see ANY results for their efforts!

So recently I’ve written a series of posts that detail exactly what you need to know about a Funded Proposal Marketing
System, including why you need a funded proposal marketing system in your business, and how to set a funded
proposal marketing system.
In this post I want to give you 3 tips that will make a drastic improvement in the amount of profit that you make from your
new funded proposal marketing system.
When you couple these 3 tips along with everything else I’ve shown you about putting an effective Funded Proposal
Marketing System to work in your business, you’ll have everything you need to have an unlimited flow of new money
and distributors pouring into your business!
So here t hey are…
First, this entire process rests on targeting the RIGHT people for your business – which again, are
OTHER network marketers. If you started targeted anybody and everybody like “old school”
prospecting methods teach you, then you won’t know exactly what your MLM leads are interested in.
And as a result, it will be nearly impossible for you to recommend a product to them.On the other
hand, if you make sure that you’re only targeting other networker marketers, you know already what
some of their issues are. And as a result, it makes it very simple (and VERY profitable) to
recommend generic affiliate products to your MLM leads that they would be VERY interested in
Second, make sure that you first establish value with them. Don’t just start blasting emails out to your
MLM leads that say “go buy this” or “go buy that”. That will just annoy them, and ultimately destroy
any value that you hold with them.Instead, position yourself as an expert by providing your
prospects with valuable, FREE content. Then, when you send them your affiliate link for a product,
you’ll have trust built up with your leads that will make them WANT to take action and buy whatever
Third, don’t over- market to your leads. This somewhat goes back to my second recommendation.
But the key to understand here is that if you continually blast affiliate offers out to your MLM leads,
each recommendation will hold less and less value in the eyes of your prospects.A great way
around this problem is to make your affiliate recommendations go along with some free training that
you’re providing them with.For example, you could send out an informative email about how to
generate free MLM leads online, then at the end add a sentence that says, “To get a step- by- step
blueprint for generating endless free MLM leads using the power of the internet, check out this free
video!”…you would then hyperlink “check out this free video” to go to an affiliate product that would offer them the stepby- step blueprint for generating endless free MLM leads. (The MyMLM Formula system, for example).
And that’s basically it! Now I realiz e this may seem like you’re adding a whole new dimension to building your business,
but once you get the hang of it, it’s VERY easy to do and can result in TONS of extra money in your pocket.
In fact, this is probably one of the most profitable and crucial elements that you must add to your business if you want to
be successful in this industry. And it’s also the key to creating multiple income streams for your business… in addition to
helping you sponsor doz ens more distributors because as a result of this system you’re able to generate unlimited free
leads for your business!

So in the past couple of posts I’ve talked a lot about Funded Proposal
In this post I’m going to share with you exactly what those steps are so you
can quickly use a funded proposal marketing system to unleash an
avalanche of free network marketing leads and new money into your
business TODAY if you want to!
Now a good funded proposal marketing system is centered on offering a
generic, front- end product to your MLM leads that helps solve their problems.
So what problems do your network marketing leads have that can be solved
with a generic product?
Well, before we can figure that out, we first have to figure out your Target
Market. Now in case you aren’t familiar with the term “Target Market”, it simply refers to the group of people that are most
likely to buy your product or use your services.
Now when it comes to finding business builders to join your downline, your Target Market is actually other network
So since we know that we should be targeting other networkers, what is a good product that we could offer our network
marketing leads that they would probably be interesting in buying?
Well, as I said before, anything that would help them solve their problems. So what are some of the main problems that
network marketers deal with?
I can think of a TON, but let’s just name some of the big ones…
A lack of leads
A lack of money
A lack of any duplication in their downline
A lack of any real marketing training
So if we want to pick a good front- end product to offer to our MLM leads, all we have to do is find a product that would
help them solve any of the problems I just listed. That way, if they choose NOT to join our downline, we can still recoup
our MLM lead costs through the sale of the front- end product.
Are you starting to see how powerful this can be for your business?
Now back to my example from my previous post, do you remember how it costs us $3.75/per MLM lead? So let’s say
that we generate 100 MLM leads. That means that our total cost is around $375 dollars. Now out of those 100 MLM
leads, we can expect 1 to 3 of them to want to join our primary business – our downline. So we can then either pay the
$375 dollars it cost us to generate the MLM leads out of our own pocket, OR we can offer a generic front end product to
all 100 of our network marketing leads!
So how do you of f er a generic f ront - end product t o your MLM leads?
Well all you do is send out a simple email to all of your MLM leads that recommends a specific product to them. You
can just talk about how it helped you, or why you think it would be beneficial to them. For example, point out how you
think it will help them solve a problem that they’re currently dealing with in their business. Be specific!
As an example, let’s say that MyMLMFormula is the front- end product you want to offer to your MLM leads. (if you

You then simply send out an email to your MLM leads that talks about MyMLMFormula, and how it will help them
generate more network marketing leads for their opportunity, make more money in their business, and ultimately allow

You then close out your email with a strong call to action and your affiliate link.
Now if you’re targeting other network marketers like you should be, about 20% of them are most likely going to be
