Startup Pirates @ Porto 2011 - Event Report
We asked all the participants to give us feedback about all the sessions, speakers and activities. We also talked with speakers, mentors and investors about their opinion regarding the event and we also draw our own conclusions based on our work on the event and with our interaction with the participants.
So now, we are ready to release the report that summarizes the results of the surveys we did.

Startup Pirates @ Porto 2011 - Event Report

  1. 1. 2011 Event Report
  2. 2. Startup Pirates @ Porto After a very intense week, Startup Pirates @ Porto is now over. We tried to come up with a program with different activities, several moments to share ideas and knowledge and some moments of pure network. We are really proud of all the teams. They did an incredible job and in the end they presented very solid and structure projects. Now it’s time to look back and evaluate all the feedback that we had from the participants, mentors, speakers and investors. Lets look at the results...

  5. 5. Agenda
  6. 6. The Attendees We had an amazing group of Pirates. People from 5 different countries (Portugal, Argentina, South Africa, Germany and UK) with different backgrounds (eg: Pharmacy, Architecture, Psychology, History of Arts, Design, IT or Civil Engineering) between 17 and 41 years old. They did a wonderful job and the best three ideas were selected to be pre-incubated at UPTEC, our local incubator.
  7. 7. Attendees Feedback… Program (1 - Less | 5 - More) Score1. Would you recommend Startup Pirates @ Porto to a friend? 4,9 Why?  “Great way to learn, interactive and not boring”  “Because it has every element you need to be a successful entrepreneur”  “For the interaction between people and knowledge shared between them all”  “Great opportunity to develop and acquire tools to become an entrepreneur.
