Startupfest, 2014 - Every year, droves of technology entrepreneurs move their businesses to Silicon Valley in the hopes of raising money, recruiting top talent, and building the next big company. However, this thinking is incredibly misguided. During this talk, Adeo Ressi, Founder & CEO of the Founder Institute, will discuss the lessons he learned in helping to launch over 1100 technology companies across 70+ cities and 6 continents. Talented people with the skills to become the next great entrepreneurs are everywhere, and as capital becomes increasingly global, amazing technology companies can be built in any city that adopts a collaborative mindset.
