  • 13. Options during Registration
    • You will receive extra prepaid Tickets for Star&Mâchon or VIP program if you purchased them during online-registration
    • Additional Tickets for the Star&Mâchon and VIP program will be available
    • from the Information booth
  • 14. SATURDAY REGISTRATION 9:00 – 12:00 CHECK-IN BIKE PARK & TRANSITION AREA 14:00 – 18:00
  • 15. Check In Info
    • Check in is obligatory for all athletes!
    • You must check in your bike and your transition bags. Otherwise those items will not be available on Race Day
    • Non-checked material can not be used in the Race
    • The check-in is close at 18:00 (6pm)
  • 16. Preparations for Check In
    • Put the 3 small stickers on your helmet (in front an on both sides)
    • Put the remaining sticker on your bike
    • Put the 3 large stickers on your Transition Bags
  • 17. Check In Process
    • Bring your Bike, Bike bag and Run bag
    • Come to the Bike Park Entrance
    • With your helmet on your head, chinstrap closed
    • Brakes will be checked
    • Helmet will be checked
    • Rack your bike (you can have you shoes clipped onto your bike – nothing else!)
    • Deposit BIKE & RUN bags
    • Do not bring your STREETWEAR bag on Saturday
  • 18. Transition Bag BIKE
    • Contains everything you need for the BIKE
    • Race number + Belt
    • Helmet
    • Glasses
    • Bike Shoes (if not clipped on the bike)

    • As you are a TriStar55.5 participant you have the possibility to registration on Sunday morning (from 6:00 to 7:00)
    • As you are a TriStar55.5 participant you have the possibility to check-in on Sunday morning (from 6:30 to 8:00)
  • 24. Before Start
    • Hand in your STREETWEAR bag; from 07:00 to 10:00
    • Go to the Start Line (Exit North of the stadium – 500m)
    • Wear your Swimcap
    • Warmup : in front of the start area (end of the warmup: 10h45)

    • Pickup your Bike
    • Push it to the Exit
    • Mount your Bike once you left the bike park

    • Throw your bottles and packaging away only in the ECOZONES at the beginning and the end of each Energy Station
    • Otherwise you ‘ ll be disqualified
  • 34. Transition 2 Bike  Run
    • Dismount your bike before entering the Bike Park
    • Push your bike to the volunteer waiting for you in front of an empty rack – he will rack it for you in order of arrival
    • Pickup your RUN bag, change in the tent
    • Put your Bike gear in the RUN bag and DROPOFF your bag when leaving the tent
    • Start the Run

    • If your bag is not on the rack you received a penalty during the BIKE
    • Go to the Marshal Area and take your Run bag. You have to run one loop of the stadium (400m)
    • The marshal area is located behind the transition tent
    • After the penalty loop: start the run race!

    • You need your Start Number + Athletes Wristband to check out
    • At the Transition Area Entrance, check your bike arrival time
    • Pickup your Transition Bags first
    • Then get your Bike (racked in order of arrival!)
    • When leaving the Park, hand in your timing chip
    • No Chip* = No Bike!
    • * Lost a chip will be charged 15€

  • 46. Rules & Regulations For a safe & Fair race
  • 47. General Rules
    • It is forbidden to:
    • Cut or fold your start number
    • Get help from third parties
    • Get race provisions outside of the official Energy Stations
    • A referees decision shall be final.
  • 48. SWIM Rules
    • It is mandatory to swim without your race number
    • The wet items must be taken to the transition area
  • 49. BIKE rules
    • Drafting is forbidden
    • The helmet must be worn at all times with the chinstrap closed
    • The race number must be visibly worn on your lower back
    • Respect the rules of the road
    • Keep on the left and Do not cut corners
    • Escorting (car, motobike, bike, ...) and assistance is forbidden
  • 50. No Drafting
    • The distance between two athletes ( Drafting zone ) is 3x7m (front tyre to back tyre)
    • If you enter in this zone, you will receive a black card
    • You are responsible for going to run loop Penality upon your return to the Transition Area
    • If you do not this loop you are disqualified
  • 51. Penalties / Cards = warning (get back into conformity) = 3 minutes penalty in Prison = 6 minutes penalty = disqualification =
  • 52. RUN rules
    • Wear the race number visibly on your front
    • If you use a start number belt, wear it on your waistline
    • You must not run topless
    • Escorting (bike, roller, runner, ...) and assistance is forbidden
  • 53. What if... Questions and Answers
  • 54. If...
    • You lose your timing chip , get a new one at the penalty tent in the transition area
    • You have to give up , let a refereee know you give up. Your family might ask us at the Info point – you are obliged to tell us what happened
      • Also let us know if you return to the race area or if you ‘ ll be back at your hotel
