Increase the demand for the Samsung cell phone in a highly competitive market and where Samsung had not supported this category in the year past
Consumer challenge:
The Samsung brand is not associated with the cell phone division in the country and even less within the music cell phone category. This territory has been dominated by Sony and Motorola

Music has power over the target it effects them, helping them express their emotion in a liberating manner (they sing out load without even noticing, they go to another world or dimension) and by personalizing their music they create a micro space that is personal, special and comforting which help them forget about thing they don’t want to worry about know.

We wanted to start creating the association of the target with music and help generate a space where they could personalize their music space.
So why not generate a blogging space where our consumer can express their best short stories regarding great music moments

Alliance Radio + Internet
We generated a special sponsorship in the top 2 highest rated radio station in the country where the DJs why encourage the listeners to participate in the Samsung blog which was located inside the web pages of each of the radio stations.
Once inside the blog the target not only could express their own anecdote but they could also vote the best ones that had been posted. Also this help n having the best voted anecdotes to be include within the already existing one for consumers to read.
As an incentive we included the drawing of a new Fame cell phone every week for each radio stations for the best anecdote selected

We are currently waiting on actual sells figures from the client for the Fame F250 in Peru
The overall results of the web campaign where very strong with:
CTR of 2.5% vs. The regular range of 0.5% and 1.0%
