TAKE RESPONSIBILITY by leaving these items in your locker:<br />Cameras<br />Remember, The Worcester Public School cell phone policy is that <br /><ul><li>CELL PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN SCHOOL.     9. 9. If you have ELECTRONICS of any kind...cell phone, mp3, iPods, PSP, CD Players, etc., IN YOUR POSSESSION DURING THE SCHOOL DAY,<br />They will be confiscated<br />and a parent or guardian will have to come in to get them.<br />

A typical day at WEMS<br />6:50 AMMorning breakfast/Open basketball<br />7:10 – 7:20the day starts with Locker time, saying hello to friends and gathering the proper materials and books needed for the first 3 classes of the day.<br />7:20 (tardy bell) -7:24Homeroom –Students sit quietly in their seats listening to morning announcements while attendance is being taken.<br />At 7:27The school day starts with six periods made up of 5 core subjects and 1 enrichment. <br />1:43Dismissal Bell – Students quietly exit the building<br />

    15. 15. Healthy habits can protect everyone from getting germs or spreading germs at home and school. Simple actions like: <br /><ul><li>Covering your mouth when coughing

    18. 18. Stop kissing!</li></ul>These habits can stop germs like the H1N1 and prevent illnesses and reduce sick days.<br />The average human mouth contains more than ten billion bacteria, almost double the number of people in the world. <br />WEMS is a TOUCH FREE zone!<br />

    26. 26. Things to Remember<br />Make sure EVERY student has a pass Every time. Please use the color coded passes - not handwritten notes.<br />If you see electronics - please confiscate them and turn them into your VP.<br />Send students to lockers during locker times - start good habits now.<br /> <br />

Gum - It's not allowed!<br />Dismissal to and from lunch has been <br />an issue - please be in the stairwell/landings when your students aredismissed.<br />Touch Free - NO touching is allowed - daps, kissing, arm wrestling at lunch, Horseplay - not allowed.<br />Dress code - please be aware of what your students are wearing! Send them to the office if you have a question.<br />
