<ul><li>In the 1700’s Bach went to Lyceum where he received his education.
After he received his education, he move toLüneburg to live with his brother Ohrdruf.
While living with his brother he learned the skill of repairing church organs.</li></li></ul><li>He began to play in a church for small wages<br />

1708<br />Bach took a job and played in the court for<br /> Duke Wilhelm Ernst <br />“Wilhelm Ernst was a strict Lutheran and commanded that only men who could read and comment on Lutheran theological writings be admitted to his armed forces.”<br />

and it is supposed that he wrote much of his organ music there.
Much to the Dukes liking, along with Bach's salary increases, he earned the title of Konzertmeister (concert master).
Six of Bach's children were born in Weimar. After seeking the more prestigious title of Kappelmeister (chapel master). he accepted an offer from Prince Leopold of Cöthen in 1717.”</li></li></ul><li>Leopold of Anhalt-Köthen<br /><ul><li>The Prince of the House of Ascania offered Bach a job making more wages.
But the Duke became angry and put Bach in prison for many months.
In 1718 Bach finally able to start playing music for Prince Leopold at Kothen.</li></li></ul><li>While working in Kothen, Bach developed many of his pieces of music<br />Includeing : Brandenburg concertos<br />That he presented to Christian Ludwig of Brandenburg (Brandenburg concertos)<br />
<ul><li>Bach accepted the job as Kantor at the Thomasschule.
There he was in charge for the music at for churches.
