Der Mobilfunkmarkt zeigte sich mit einem Gesamtwachstum von 1 Million neuen SIM-Karten in starker Verfassung. ePlus und die Deutsche Telekom legten am stärksten zu.

Im Breitband-Festnetz führt die Deutsche telekom den Markt mit 12,4 Millionen Anschlüssen an. Kabel Deutschland/Vodafone folgt auf Platz 2 mit 5,2 Millionen Festnetzanschlüssen. Dritter ist United Internet mit 3,6 Millionen DSL-Anschlüssen.
