Laser Surgery in ComplexTherapy of Urogenital TBE. Kulchavenya, M. KulchavenyaNovosibirsk, Russia, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.orgMaterial and methods. 76 patients having 1-3 grades ofTC were treated with standard TB pharmacotherapy. 17patients with TC grades 2-3 underwent laser surgery withYAG-ND laser – endovesical interstitial canalizations.Results. Standard TBpharmacotherapy had poorresults in 57.9% and 42.1%could be cured. Combinedpharmacological and lasersurgical treatmentresponded in a favourable manner: urinary frequencyreduced about 75%, bladder capacity increased anaverage of 3.1 fold, the intensity of pain significantlyreduced. None of the patients developed true microcystisafter the combined treatment. However, in the 1-st groupthis complication developed in 21.1% of the patients.Conclusion. TC is secondary to renal TB, however quiteoften renal TB may start with voiding symptoms.Urinalysis reveals – pyuria, erythrocyturia and growth ofunspecific bacteria is possible. Laser surgery improvesthe results of pharmacological therapy for TC.
