ChemLab for windows is an interactive simulation of a chemistry lab. Common
Lab equipment and procedures are used to simulate the steps involved in performing a
chemistry lab experiment. Each lab simulation is contained in a separate loadable
simulation module, thus many different labs are possible using the common lab

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate ChemLab software in different
technical and pedagogical aspects in order to develop this software and
understand the students need.
