  • What’s Connect Introduced on 15th Aug 2013 with 12 different logos on the Jacket of both Inextlive and Dainik Jagran. Users were presented with 12 Independence based themes. Audio, Video, Photos and stories constituted the launch portfolio

  • Connect- Augmented Reality Connect is an Augmented Reality App which works on Android platform A platform to connect the print and digital/mobile content. User is opened to a larger and more interactive platform than the traditional print medium. Print- Read Only Web- Search & Read AR- Read & Explore
  • Why Connect Images and stories that go in print are static and nondynamic. No further interaction possible with printed images. “Connect” connects the printed static images to richer and more interactive content online. Way more interactive than the other AR Apps.
  • How to Use Connect ? Print images are coded with connect logo in newspaper Connect App is then opened on Android Phone Immediately the related video, audio, slideshow, infographics, etc starts images in print are scanned through the App
  • How to download App? It is a free app anyone can download it from Google play store and install it on their Android smartphones. Users can also get download link by SMS APPCON to 57272 or a missed call on 022-39386843.
  • User Interaction and Instructions All AR content is accompanied with the steps to download the app and use it Re-emphasis is given with bold and catchy print images to re-iterate connect usability. Daily selected content is encoded with Connect Logo.
  • Present Possibilities with Connect We can present the following through the App: Static Pages Interactive Videos Flash Animations Mp3 Audio Photo Galleries Social Media Sharing Comments Polls
  • Few videos… We may use these as example for builders/ realtors wherein they may use AR app in their ads.
  • What next with Connect ? Content Translation- newspaper reader will have the benefit of translating the content into his own regional language 3D Video Animations- the favorite cartoons can be made alive for more fun and high interactivity Virtual Stores- After scanning the image of the store, the reader shall be able to locate it, enter the store, shop from there and pay Location/Dealer Approach- A specific location can be traced, which malls, eating joints, dealer shops, etc are located in that particular area can be identified, can be to an extent where the readers will also come to know what discounts, offers, etc are available in malls, shops, etc.
