    Alaska Alaska Presentation Transcript

    • Alaska – The Last Frontier
    • Ketchikan, AK – A large fishing village.
    • Skagway Skagway, AK – on top of Mendenhall Glacier.
    • Large crevice in the glacier
    • Many of the glacier’s no longer exist today. What was once covered in ice is now pools of water surrounded by rock.
    • You can see the rock being reveled as the ice melts.
    • Juneau, AK – Whale Watching
    • Killer Whales between Victoria Canada and Vancouver
    • Bald Eagle in Ketchikan, AK. This is the “Salmon Capital of the World” providing great meals for these bald eagles.
    • Juneau, AK - Harbor Seals
    • School of dolphin, swimming along side our ship.
    • Juneau, AK – Steller Sea Lions
    • Approaching the Hubbard Glacier .
    • The closer you get; you are amazed at the size of this glacier.
    • Wow!!
    • When the glacier breaks off this is called “Calving”.
    • The sound is like a distant thunder.
    • Two beautiful rainbows the last night of our trip.
    • As the sun sets so ends our journey.
