    • 2. Party • The Communist Party greatly used propaganda as a tool for the Great Leap Forward • They tried numerous things to gain the people’s enthusiasm into working extra hours in even bad conditions • They used posters, slogans and even newspaper articles to urge them to do so

    • 6. Outcome of the Propaganda • The propaganda worked very well on the people • Many impressive construction projects were built in record time • A huge dam near Beijing was built without enough machines, no cement, and no building materials • They built it with their bare hands and feet
