        • Minimally covering all hotel accommodations and major tourist attractions.
      • Creating Awareness

          • Providing a link on the Incredible India website & other DOT websites frequented by tourists
        • Partnering in the print version of the tourist guide
          • Making a printed copy of this tourist guide available at all DOT tourist information centers – internationally as well as nationally.
    9. Encouraging Private Sector
      • Establish a Business Case in adopting accessibility by understanding the consumer power and travel behavior of people with disabilities
        • Determining the spending capacity of Indians with disabilities;
          • Will require a market research of the travel habits and spending capacity of Indians with disabilities
        • Establishing tourist sites that are preferred by persons with disabilities.
        • Recording stats of numbers & experiences of disabled tourists visiting India.
      • Applaud Good Practices
        • Awards for disabled friendly Restaurants, Entertainment and Shopping Areas in line with the accessible Hotel awards.
    10. Encouraging Private Sector

        • Including accessibility as a mandatory criteria for DOT registration.

        • Extending accessibility requirements to all categories and budget hotels.
