  1. Tour of England… By JS 7L (FEHS 2006-07)
  2. Dear Sir/Madam Here is a 5 day tour of England with some very enjoyable and interesting places to visit. The reason we have chosen these particular places is because we believe they are typically English and they are nice places to get away and to just have fun… Each family will be accommodated in a five star hotel each night in the different places. We hope you enjoy our selections for each day during the 5 day period in which the 50 people will be in England and are guarantied to be back at the airport in time for their flight back. The tour group will travel by coach and will go no further than 300km per day. Hope you enjoy…
  3. We are intending to visit the 7 following places during the 5 days in the following order…
    • Stone Henge (Day 1)
    • Shropshire (Day 1)
    • Birmingham (Day 2)
    • Lake District (Day 3)
    • Pennines (Day 3)
    • Southwold (Day 4)
    • London (Day 5)
    • And then back to the airport…
  4. And here’s the route… LONDON Stone Henge BIRMINGHAM Shropshire LAKE DISTRICT PENNINES Heathrow Airport SOUTHWOLD
  5. DAY 1… STONE HENGE & SHROPSHIRE SHROPSHIRE STONE HENGE
  6. DAY 1…
    • Stone Henge:
    • When we arrive at Stone Henge, we are going to have a picnic and tourists will be able to take photos, etc.
    • WEATHER FORECAST:
    • Warm and sunny. Average Temp. 17 degrees Celsius
    • YOU WILL NEED TO BRING-
    • T-Shirt
    • Sun cream and sun hat
    • Appropriate Bottoms (Preferably shorts)

    • Shropshire:
    • When we arrive in in Shropshire, tourists will be taken on an organised walk and get a breath of fresh air.
    • WEATHER FORECAST:
    • Warm and sunny. Average temp. 17 degrees Celsius.
    • YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
    • Water Bottle
    • Sun cream and sun hat
    • T-Shirt and appropriate bottoms (Preferably shorts)
  8. DAY 2… BIRMINGHAM BIRMINGHAM Shropshire
  9. DAY 2…
    • Birmingham:
    • When we arrive in Birmingham we are going to go to the wonderful chocolate factory. This will be a lot of fun, interesting and probably educational in a way too.
    • WEATHER FORECAST-
    • Cloudy and a slight drizzle. Average temp. 14 degrees Celsius
    • YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
    • A small bag
  10. DAY 3… LAKE DISTRICT AND THE PENNINES PENNINES LAKE DISTRICT
  11. DAY 3…
    • Lake District:
    • On arrival at Lake District, tourists will be able to go on an organised boat trip across the lake.
    • WEATHER FORECAST-
    • Cloudy but warm. May be a slight drizzle.
    • Average Temp. 15 degrees Celsius
    • YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
    • A small umbrella
    • Suitable clothing (i.e. top and trousers)

    • Pennines:
    • When we arrive at The Pennines it’ll just be a while to take photo’s, have a look at the mountains and have a look at the lovely natural scenery.
    • WEATHER FORECAST-
    • Cloudy but warm. May be slight drizzle.
    • Average temp. 15 degrees Celsius
    • YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
    • A small umbrella
    • Suitable clothing (i.e. top and trousers)
  13. DAY 4… SOUTHWOLD SOUTHWOLD
  14. DAY 4…
    • Southwold:
    • On arrival at Southwold, tourists will be able to explore the area, visit the pier and play with the old fashioned penny machines, watch the water clock, and end with a gentle stroll across the beach.
    • WEATHER FORECAST-
    • Sunny but quite windy. Average temp. 13 degrees Celsius.
    • YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
    • Suitable warm clothing
    • Warm jumper/ coat
    • A little money for the penny machines if desired.
  15. DAY 5, FINAL DAY… LONDON LONDON Heathrow Airport
  16. DAY 5, FINAL DAY…
    • London:
    • When we arrive in London, England’s capital city, there are bookings for the London Eye and it’s a wonderful place to have a look around the shops. When finished, tourists will be escorted back to Heathrow airport.
    • WEATHER FORECAST-
    • Warm and sunny. Average temp. 15 degrees Celsius.
    • YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
    • Money to purchase any goods wanted
    • Any clothing for good for warm weather
