    • What is SPOSA Child? “ S ave and P rotect O ur S exually- A bused Child ” Registered as a Stichting in August 2010, based in Rotterdam Main objective: Provide financial assistance, help and support to sexually-abused children in the Philippines, in particular to the child-victims in the Island of Negros S P O S A C h i l d
    • What went before? SPOSA Child grew out of the efforts and the commitment of its founder, Ms. Marilyn Tinsay, to help abused children in Negros in the Philippines S P O S A C h i l d
    • Who are we? A Netherlands-based support group working closely with child protection and child welfare organizations in the Philippines S P O S A C h i l d
    • The Vision of SPOSA Child To give to every child brutalized by sexual abuse every possible encouragement and support to overcome trauma and grow in a reassuring and loving environment. S P O S A C h i l d
    • How do we do it?  Raise awareness about the problem of sexually-abused children in the Philippines  Mobilize financial support for the direct benefit of victimized children in the Island of Negros  Cooperate with child protection institutions in the Philippines and abroad S P O S A C h i l d

All appropriate measures [must be taken] to promote physical and psychological recovery and social reintegration of a child victim of any form of neglect, exploitation, or abuse. Such recovery and reintegration shall take place in an environment which fosters the health, self-respect and dignity of the child.
