CONFIGURACION DE RED UNA VEZ CONFIGURADO LA INTERFAZ O INTERFACES HABRÁ QUE REINICIAR LOS SERVICIOS DE RED: $sudo /etc/init.d/networking {opción] Donde las opciones son start – stop – restart o ir al script… /sbin/service network {opción} PARA CONFIGURAR EL NOMBRE DE NUESTRO HOST LO PODREMOS HACER DE 2 DIFERENTES FORMAS: 1- Editando /etc/hostname o 2- teclear #hostname “nombre_nuevo_host” Esto nos permitirá identifica nuestra pc en la red, el comando hostname está ubicado en /bin y para saber el nombre de nuestro host tecleamos $hostname

CONFIGURACION DE RED HABRÁN ARCHIVOS Y SCRIPTS EJECUTABLES – leíbles y no leíbles – LOS CUALES NOS SERVIRÁN PARA ENTENDER MEJOR NUESTRA RED: ifconfig ifup ifdown Ubicados en /sbin MIENTRAS QUE EXISTIRÁN ARCHIVOS CONFIGURABLES .conf UBICADOS EN /etc/networking/: networking.conf hostname.conf network-interface.conf NOTA : Recordar que dependiendo de la distro en algunos casos los archivos y scripts estarán ubicados en diferentes carpetas, encontrarán con otro nombre o simplemente no los habrá
