My Story Rough Draft #2
Everyone has a story, but I’ll be telling you mine. My story begins on September 24 1998. I
was born at St. Boniface Hospital Winnipeg Manitoba. My full name is Jason John Reyes. I have
two brothers, Christian born on August 28 2001, and Michael born on July 16 1997. My mom’s
name is Dina Reyes born on January 15 1965. My dad’s name is Lito Reyes born on January 25
1965. My family is Catholic. I grew up at 638 Alverstone St. in front of Dairy Queen. Sometimes
in our life we have events that impact us.
We all have good or bad events that has impacted our lives and made us who we are know.
These are some of mine. An event that has impacted my life was my mom’s miss carriage. My
mom was pregnant with a baby girl when I was two years old. At the hospital I saw I saw my
mom crying and my dad was comforting her. Later I asked my mom “ what’s my sisters name “
and she said “her name in Angel”. When we came home I asked her where Angel was, and she
said “ Angel is in heaven”. Now I know why her name is Angel. This has impacted my life
because I still dream of having a little sister and I lost someone I loved and I wish I got to know
her before she left.
Another event that impacted my life was my brother being born. My brother was born on
August 28, 2001. My brother was a big baby and he had a big head so he didn’t come out that
easily. My mom had to have a C. Section for him to get out. This has impacted my life because
he is very fun in a way and without him I would be lonely and bored. Sometimes he makes me
really mad, but I know I couldn’t live without him.
Different people want to do different things when they grow up. In the future I see myself
becoming a doctor. I want to be a doctor because you have a great salary and you get to help
people in need. I know it’s really hard to become a doctor so these are my goals. In order to
become a doctor I wall have to do good in school and do my homework. I will also have to stick
to the commitment and not slack off. If I do this I might become a doctor in the future. We all
have a story, and mine still has a long way’s to go.
