  • Recognition Program
    • Strategic Partners has instituted an annual recognition program to give special thanks to a partner, consultant and staff member for the past year. This year there was a tie in two categories .
    • On the following slides are the winners
    • of this year’s awards in their respective
    • categories.
  • Partner of the Year
    • Kelly Fairbairn, Instructional Designer and Principal Consultant
    • As a valued partner of Strategic Partners, Inc., Kelly Fairbairn of PPS International is our go-to resource for leadership development. Her commitment to our partnership is evident by her actions. Over the years, Kelly has provided referrals and prospects from joint marketing efforts, has helped foster client relationships and has provided outstanding services to our clients that increased our visibility, enabling us to go deeper and wider within our client organizations.
    • Kelly has been instrumental in working with the following clients: WHO, EPA, IADB, URAC and CMS. As a valued partner, we added her services to our GSA Mobis schedule. Kelly always goes the extra mile and is always a pleasure to work with.
    • Kelly has a Bachelor’s degree in public communication from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in employee counseling and relations from Binghamton University.
  • Consultants of the Year
    • Diane Thielfoldt, Instructional Designer and Facilitator
    •
    • Diane partners with clients to create custom learning solutions that produce business results and support personal growth – and that’s what’s she done with Strategic Partners and our clients. She has assisted in joint marketing efforts and attended client business development meetings, and redesigned her employee engagement and retention training materials to be a better fit for our clients.
        • She has been instrumental with a new client as our subject matter expert in drafting a very thoughtful proposal which led to the award of the contract. Over the years, Diane has been invaluable in training our clients at the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, the Constellation, and the Intelligence Community, on how to more effectively manage in this multi-generational workforce.
        • Diane holds undergraduate and advanced degrees from Pennsylvania State University. She is qualified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and a wide variety of testing and assessment tools, including 360 degree feedback.
  • Consultants of the Year
    • MINDY L. ZASLOFF, M.B.A., Mentoring Practice Leader, Senior Consultant
    •
    • Mindy is Strategic Partners’ mentoring practice leader. She has aided Strategic Partners with designing customized mentoring programs and has been instrumental in increasing our mentoring foot print within the Intelligence Community. As part of our business development and marketing efforts, Mindy designed a 12-month learning calendar, helped craft numerous proposals and taken the lead in representing SPI at conferences, client meetings and sales calls.
    • Mindy has done great work for us over the years for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, with EPA, Constellation Energy, U.S. Patent and Trademark office, and has provided some thoughtful ideas more broadly around mentoring, and how can SPI present a more systemic approach to mentoring
    • She is extremely responsive, is always willing to take a business development call to help provide insights to prospects and is always willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Staff Persons of the Year
    • Michelle Mehler, Client Services Coordinator and Resource Manager
    •
    • Michelle is responsible for serving as liaison and point of contact for clients, consultants and affiliate organizations, resolving questions or concerns, and communicating proactively on an on-going basis. She maintains the master schedule for client engagements, including arranging logistics as needed and monitoring deadlines to ensure all tasks are implemented as contracted. She is responsible for ordering materials for client projects, including coordinating with partners on delivery of materials and other project-related matters.
    • Basically, Michelle wears a ton of different hats, and fills them all well!
    •
    • Michelle received her BA in Political Science from Kennesaw State University, Minor in Criminal Justice and also completed coursework from Auburn University.
  • Staff Person of the Year
    • Gail McGaha, Executive Assistant
    •
    • Gail is Strategic Partners’ Executive Assistant and right arm to Ken Boxer. In this role, she is responsible for scheduling, office management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, physical marketing mailing, conferences and a host of other duties.
    •
    • Gail IS the face of SPI, connecting Ken with clients and helping to move business forward, as well as following up with marketing events, setting up booths at conferences, advertising – always going above and beyond, rain or shine. Gail is always available to provide feedback, answer questions and is tenacious in her role with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
    • It’s always a pleasure to speak and work with Gayle!
    •

    • 1 Case of 2008 Vinkara Turkish Wines
    • The case includes three white (2008 Vinkara Doruk Narince) and three red (2008 Vinkara Doruk Kalecik Karasi). Some consider Turkey to actually be the birthplace of wine, even with its hot climate, and has produced some light and citrusy wines. This product is the first vintage from Vinkara, a client of Brand Action Team, and is not yet available in the US market. Here's a blog post my coworker wrote that may better capture some of the nuances from tasting the wine.

    • No available SRP.
    • Certificate given to: Michelle Mehler
  • Stephanie Jerzy Brand Action Team, Inc.
    • 1 Bottle of Mandarine Napoleon
    • Mandarine Napoleon is an orange liqueur that is most frequently compared to Grand Marnier and Cointreau, but has a distinctive taste all itself. Mandarine Napoleon combines aged cognacs with the macerations of Sicilian mandarin oranges, giving a sweet palate over the savory cognac base.
    • It is perfect to sip on the rocks, or combine for a variety of cocktails. It makes a great Mandarine & Tonic, Mandarine & Cranberry Juice, or a Belgian spiked Coffee. Pair with a preferred champagne for a MandaFizz, perfect for New Years Eve. Attached is an article that I wrote that elaborates on the history of the product, as it has a very cool story actually tracing back to Napoleon Bonaparte himself. This liqueur was developed for the emperor by a close chemist friend name Fourcroy.
