What’s my story?
I first became a stand up comedian in 1981 in San Francisco and performed
at various clubs for the next 3 years. I started with open mic nights and
then progressed into being a supporting act at The Holy City Zoo, The
Other Cafe, the original Cobb’s Comedy Club and various other clubs in
Northern California. After having my daughter in 1983 I made the decision
to stop performing. I did return for a number of performances in 1985 but
had not performed for nearly 25 years since then. I was offered an job as a
regular MC at the Punch Line by David Mayeri of Bill Graham but had to
decline for family reasons. In January 2009 I received an offer to perform at
Caroline’s in NYC and have been performing ever since.
It’s not very often in life that you get a second chance to pursue a passion
so I’m thrilled and very thankful for that.

Although I only started performing again In January 2009, I have already performed a significant
number of shows at Stand Up NY, Caroline’s Comedy Club, The Punch Line in SF and other
venues as well. The shows I have been able to record I have begun posting on YouTube under
The Polexican channel. I also have a website where I post info about myself, my upcoming
