  • 1. Parallel and Perpendicular Line Segments
  • 2. Line segments - a line with a beginning and an end. A piece of a line. You know a line ends when it has dots at each end. Line segments are labeled with letters.
  • 3. Intersecting - lines that cross or meet.
  • 4. Parallel - describes lines in the same plane that never cross, or intersect - they are marked using "arrows"
  • 5. Perpendicular - describes lines that intersect at right angles (90 degrees) - they are marked using a small square
  • 6. Textbook pg 86-88 all numbers
