2. The Awareness about your own physical
existence, passions, feelings, thoughts and
perspective constitute individual
consciousness.
Individual consciousness; separated from
the objective consciousness is weak,
diffident and insecure. It keeps you away
from the fountainhead of power, confidence
and assurance!
The fear of losing identity, the fear losing
individual life, the fear of not being able to
do something in life, are hallmarks of
growing but isolated individual
consciousness. The resentment about
prevalence of injustice (according to you);
also springs from growing but isolated
individual consciousness. The apprehension
that somebody else “steals” “your” credit
3. also springs from this individual
consciousness!
The progress of this individual
consciousness into the objective
consciousness (due to the continuous calling
of the objective consciousness from within);
in spite of the overpowering influence of
this individual consciousness; is like an
unending war! It makes you restless and
anxious throughout!
But when you reach the root of your
individual consciousness; your fear
disappears gradually because of the
realization of the immortality and cosmic
nature of the objective consciousness!
Further, you realize that you have been
able to reach this sublime state in spite of
the innumerable drawbacks (traditionally
termed vices or sins)! This gives you the
4. assurance that everyone in the universe has
potential to reach there at appropriate time
(though not necessarily as per your
anticipation)! This is a realistic and great
assurance and can allay all your
restlessness and anxiety! Further, your
want for credit vanishes as you realize that;
in the objective consciousness that you have
reached; the “time itself is contingent” and
hence the petty thoughts of “credit”,
“pioneering”, “creating”, “following” etc
vanish!
Going to the root of individual
consciousness and experiencing its oneness
with the cosmic or objective consciousness
is not easy!
But with the practice of NAMASMARAN
you can certainly emerge triumphant!
5. You need not believe in this, but you may
provisionally accept and verify it with
sincerity and steadfastness!
