  3. 3. History <ul><li>The creator of Twitter goes by the name Jack Dorsey. </li></ul><ul><li>At the board meeting Dorsey introduced the idea of an individual using an SMS service to communicate with a small group </li></ul>
  4. 4. Purpose <ul><li>Twitter is a free social networking and micro blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets </li></ul>
  5. 5. Content <ul><li>Content is mostly text based. </li></ul><ul><li>Content comes from people around the world adding media to the website. </li></ul>

Uses <ul><li>For education, teachers can post assignments where students can view and complete them. </li></ul><ul><li>In business, bosses can put up a business thought and employees can add and comment about it. </li></ul><ul><li>In the home, family members can stay connected even if they aren't in the home anymore. </li></ul>
