  1. 2. <ul><li> We have two kinds of important days; </li></ul><ul><li>Officials days and festivals </li></ul><ul><li>Religious days and festivals </li></ul>
  2. 3. RELIGIOUS DAYS AND FESTIVALS Ramazan (Sugar) Festival : .
  3. 4. <ul><li>Every year, we –Muslims- feast for 30 days. </li></ul><ul><li>After these 30 days, we celebrate the ending of this period. </li></ul><ul><li>T his 30-days period is called as RAMAZAN. </li></ul><ul><li>So this celabration is called as Ramazan Festival and takes 3 days </li></ul>
  4. 5. Also <ul><li>This festival is also called Sugar Festival </li></ul><ul><li>because during celebrations, people give children lots of candies like Halloween Day </li></ul><ul><li>and it is also called as Sugar Festival. </li></ul>
  5. 7. <ul><li>Kurban Festival </li></ul>
  6. 8. <ul><li>This festival takes four day </li></ul><ul><li>In this festival: </li></ul><ul><li>Each family buys a sheep or a cow </li></ul><ul><li>We cut it and share its meat with our neighbours and the poor. </li></ul><ul><li>Our mothers cook very delicious meals with meat in this festival </li></ul>
  7. 9. Although it seems as festival of sacrifices our aim is <ul><li>not to kill animals </li></ul><ul><li>to make a sense of being an unique society </li></ul>
  8. 10. <ul><li>In addition to these, </li></ul><ul><li>The dates of these festivals change every year. </li></ul>
