  3. 3. Nursery<br />Children can go to nursery before primary school if they want<br />
  4. 4. <ul><li>However, our government took a decision and chose 38 cities last year. According to this decision; in these 38 cities, nursery education was made obligatory because our National Education Ministry concluded that the age of starting primary school is too late for a person. As a result government has started to test nursery education in these 38 pilot cities. If it works, nursery schools will be obligatory for all children</li></li></ul><li>
  5. 5. Primary School<br />In our country, every child who is 7 years old has to attend primary school<br />
  6. 6. Primary school education takes 8 years and it is obligatory to take this education<br />
  7. 7. After students graduate primary school, they take a high school entrance exam, and they attend to high school according to their exam results and interests.<br />
  8. 8. High School Education<br />In Turkey, high school education isn’t compulsory as primary school education. It is a four-years-period.<br />
  9. 9. College Education<br />At the end of the high school, students have University Entrance Exam in our country. If they get enough points, they make choices for the departments they want to attend.<br />
  10. 10. Also we have 142 university in Turkey. Bogazici (Bosphorus ) University, ODTU (METU) University and Bilkent University are some some of wordly known universities in Turkey<br />
