5. 5. Choosing &quot; apply penalties &quot; means that there is a penalty for each wrong attempt For real tests (not just unlimited practice) change this to 1 attempt . Adaptive Mode should be set to NO If you choose Yes for this option then the student will be allowed multiple responses to a question even within the same attempt at the quiz. 1 2

Remember to Click 'Save and display ' at the bottom of the screen (see previous page) <ul><li>Other Options: </li></ul><ul><li>It is also a good idea to shuffle the questions so that students do not learn a pattern when they retake the test. </li></ul><ul><li>Shuffling within the questions is also useful to discourage copying amongst students. </li></ul>3 4

Or to give them a link to more information they can use if they did not understand the questions .&quot; Scroll down the page . General feedback is given after the question has been attempted, and is the same for all students regardless of how they did the task 1
