Are You Shortchanging God and Others? Can we give too much of ourselves? 2 Cor. 9:6-11

Introduction A question recently asked: “When is (or is it) giving of ourselves too much?” Ultimately, it is impossible to give too much of ourselves. We also have a responsibility to provide for the welfare of our families. Cp. 1 Tim. 5:8 Mixed into our quandary are the wants of the flesh that keep us from being pure in our attitude and practice in what and how we give to those in need.

Lk. 6:30-36 The world does good only to those who do good to them: God loves the sinner. Rom. 5:6 The world lends only to those whom they expect to receive back from: God doesn’t lend, He gives.
