    • Notre Dame cathedral• Notre Dame is probably the best known cathedral in the world. Construction on the Cathedral began in 1163 by order of Archbishop Sully. The building was made in French Gothic architecture.

    • The Tower of London• The Tower of London is a regal building, probably most famous as a prison. Built by William the Conqueror it rises 89ft into the sky. This tower started as a fortress and became an icon of London.

    • The Library of Alexandria• The biggest library of it’s time, the Library of Alexandria is probably the most famous library in the present time. Built in 283 B.C. as a temple to the Muses, it’s a truly remarkable building.
