How Combining Main Product and Ancillary Texts Boosts Effectiveness
1. How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
2. Dark background- We have used the black background on all of our ancillary tasks to help them flow. It also creates a dark feeling and helps the audience understand that it is a dark film. Big red Font which is seen throughout our ancillary tasks. Our female protagonist is featured on all of the ancillary tasks to show the audience who the main character is, and we can get use to seeing her now. We have also used this file in one of our film posters. The reason for this is to emphasis the genre of film. And also give a little bit away of what will be in the film. On each of our ancillary tasks we have included “Big names” so the audience can easily recognise the stars and stars sell! White font-which has been used in all of our posters as it’s clear to read on a black background and looks very effective.
3. Red font to link the red in the poster Black Background In this poster we have included one of the villains stood behind our protagonist. We have done this so that we can establish more characters to keep it interesting for the audience. Red jumpsuit- This poster shows what our protagonist is wearing when she is being tortured, we have included this as it shows variety in all of the ancillary tasks. White font which links to all three ancillary tasks
4. White font Red font Black background The file which we included in the magazine cover to create familiarity. We used a different outfit here to show the different sides to our female lead.
