Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Preliminary project Main Coursework

My developments I feel that from the completion of my preliminary project and main coursework production I have a greater awareness on the technologies I have used and I am now able to present a piece to a suitable audience.

Production Work Whilst producing my work I have decided to make significant changes from research and planning instalments to make the piece appropriate for the target audience of 18 to 25 year old females. For example; I tried to have a front cover picture of a female with their face forward in a mid close up shot. However, this had different connotations than I intended therefore changed it to a long shot with the face looking sideways.

Research and Planning The research and planning was essential as it allowed me to find the appropriate articles and style the target audience would want to read. I was also able to make better use of my blog to keeps account of my research and planning which has adapted from my preliminary project as I knew that I could draft the work before publishing it and edit it where needed.

Organisation of time In my preliminary project I was behind my time schedules therefore this made me more prompt on the main coursework production. My time plan was accurate in places. However, I had to do some adaptations to fit in with models and props etc.

For Example... These weekly entries here were moved forwards to swap with work I did individually as the people involved were not able to work in the week set. This did not create many problems for me as the weeks were able to swap around.
