By doing this question on my questionnaire I have come to a decision that my target audience mainly prefer to watch a thriller, I believe that by doing a thriller I will gain the audience attention all through my 2 minutes of filming. Action is closely second so I am also going to try to add a few action shots to ensure not just only half of my audience are entertained
My age group that I am aiming my film at seem to prefer to get to know what the film is about straight away, as I have only 2 minutes to start my film for my AS coursework, I think that it would be a good idea to go straight to the point of the film to ensure the audience have a brief understanding of what my film is about.
Looking at the results of this question not many people seem to like olden day film and prefer more up to date ones. This has made me come to a decision that I wont include any olden day clips and just include modern scene, This is to make sure the audience what the full course of my start of the film, as if they see bv the first shot that it is set in olden days I believe many will not want to watch more
I always wanted to add backing music to my start of my film as I believed that it made the film more tense but I wasn’t sure whether my target audience would like this idea. But know that I know that over 75% would prefer this, I am defiantly going to add music over my scenes to again ensure the attention I want.
I believe my results are like this as my age group I chose get bored very easy and rather impatient, so I believe to prevent these feelings from my audience I will have quite a lot of dialogue, and also this helps and earlier result I had to make sure the start of my film goes straight to the point, as it will be easy to understand with speaking
