EXT. COLLEGE - DAY
Bright and lit day, Charlie is located underneath a tree
with minimal background noise. Next to the college building,
he is out of the way of any disturbance.
CHARLIE
Yes I think they are.
CUT TO:
Cuts to Evie, who is in the same place as Charlie but filmed
seperately.
EVIE
I think it depends how differently
they are dressed.

follow trends to fit in?
CHARLIE
I don't think so but people do.
CUT TO:
EVIE
I think everyone should be their
selves no matter what.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
Sat on a bench upstairs everything is clearly visible and
easy to see moreover. Bright and well lit green brisk carpet
lines the bottom of the shot and the floor below.
PAULA
Don't think they should but they do
anyway.
EXT. COLLEGE - DAY

surrounds the fountain two teenage girls sit next to each
other.

anyway.

AMY & ANNI
(both)
Yes.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
The college corridor is empty, a table sat behind them with
classes going on in the next rooms. Behind them is a long
stretch of a corridor with people walking down throughout, a
spacious and quiet place.
JOSH
Yeah, I do. A lot.
EXT. COLLEGE - DAY
Back to outside, you are able to hear the sound of trains
going past along with the sounds of nature from around in
the nearby forest.
EVIE
Yeah, too much.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
Above reception, located in the drama/science block. Sat on
a bench with the staircase behind them, with them in centre

EXT. COLLEGE - DAY
Outside in the F block, sat on the edge to a fountain with
the water running for the audience to hear in the
background. Shot with them being to the left of the screen
with the scenery to the right to leave no empty space. Sunny
and bright day, different from being inside, nice and quiet
so nothing disturbs the interview. Greenery all around them,
classrooms as well with students and teachers walking round.
AMY
Facebook, Instagram.
ANNI
I would use Facebook and Twitter
but my phones broke so I cant.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
Quiet atmosphere, thinking about the question in hand, looks
over at Louis to think of something to say who agrees with
the answer.
JOSH
Facebook, twitter. A lot of youtube
as well.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
No noise other than them, paula looks at the camera as she
prepares to speak.
PAULA
Twitter, tumblr.
INTERVIEWER [OS]
What would you say is your
favourite?
EXT. LONG ROAD. NEXT TO FOUNTAIN
They both look at each other before speaking then go into
discussion as to why they chose what they did.
ANNI
Instagram.
AMY
I like twitter personally. Its
better, I like to be nosey at
peoples lives.
5. 4
ANNI
Instagram is better though, you get
to see pictures.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
More focused on Paula as Alex looks at her as she answers,
knowing that she was about to speak.
PAULA
Id say tumblr.
EXT. COLLEGE - DAY
Pauses to think of a response, trains going past in the
distance.
EVIE
Instagram, I like Twitter because
I'm annoying on it because I post
the most random things.
CUT TO:
CHARLIE
Who do I idolise?
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
Smiles as he speaks, liking the question in hand and knowing
what to say.
JOSH
Id say my dad, he's like me.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
Thinks about his answer before speaking, looks round for
inspiration then goes into an explanation into why he said
who he did.
ALEX
Two people off of youtube. Id say
Jim Chapman and Roman Atwood, I
look up to them a lot.
INT. COLLEGE - DAY
Josh looks over at Louis in a questioning way before
realising who he is talking about then likes his answer.
Louis goes in detail with the answer, explaining why he
chose the person that he idolises.
6. 5
LOUIS
Id say David Harrison, he use to be
our teacher. He's kind of the thing
I wanted to be when I was older.
EXT. COLLEGE - DAY
Sat under the tree, holds onto the side of his leg whilst
giving his answer, clear he has thought about it before by
the time it takes him to reply. Evie takes her time to
think, rocking back and forth in her chair trying to think
of someone then smiles when she realises who it is, eager to
answer.
CHARLIE
Dragons Den, one of the dragons.
Peter Jones, worked his way up to a
billionaire or what ever he is now.
CUT TO:
EVIE
Id say I idolise, Zooey Deschanel
cause I want to be like her.
EXT. COLLEGE - DAY
Anni answers straight away, though is very set on what she
has said, clear she has thought about this question before.
ANNI
Me. I dont idolise anyone, its all
about being yourself.
INTERVIEWER [OS]
Do you think stereotyping has
gotten worse over the years?
EXT. COLLEGE - DAY
Looks over in the distance towards the college building then
back to the interviewer as he replies.
CHARLIE
Yeah I think it has cause things
like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook
people posting videos.
EXT. COLLEGE - DAY
Laughing along with Amy, knowing what she is going to say
then explains her opinion on the subject, looking over at
the interviewer as she speaks keeping eye contact. Amy
7. 6
looking around as she waits for Anni to finish speaking, the
wind picks up and they start to fix their hair.
ANNI
No it hasn't worsened over the
years. but when you are in
secondary school you have all the
different groups. When you get to
college it all fades away and you
get on with it, they may still be
around.
EXT. COLLEGE - DAY
Thinks about the question as she is answering, taking pauses
every so often to think about what she is saying, trying to
let us understand what she means.
EVIE
I think that peoples views have
always been quite similar over the
years cause probably a long time a
go people were judged by things
they shouldn't be judged but
society these days. A lot more
people are mean and they shouldn't
be.
CUT TO:
CHARLIE
I think social media might be to
blame, these stereotypical thoughts
people have.
