From a store at Scotia bank Place offering products and other merchandise of Ottawa senators at Gate 1 where the all started, it has now catapulted itself to become a major web store. 24SevenCart e-commerce application has helped Sens Store to offer exclusive men’s and ladies apparels, 70 different styles of hats, Sparty apparel, mini sticks and plush for kids of all ages through web.

Ottawa Senators fans say “earlier we use to buy the stuff for our team and supporters from the stores at the eve of matches. Now we can easily order our favorite collection and products online.”

Challenges

Being a leading store for a reputed NHL team Ottawa senators, we have to always take care of the merchandise options and apparels which can be customized as fans demands changes gradually in every league season and fan following increases and demand for apparels with name of the star player also changes.

We always had to keep the inventory and stock into check before any major league season and for people who used to have memorabilia and collectibles throughout the year. A fully fledged website which showcased the availability of products in the Sens Store was hosted which displayed vital information of the jerseys, apparels, memorabilia, head wear, novelty and gift cards.

Before using 24SevenCart, we never realized that we can expand our store through web and can use it as an effective medium to reach out with fans.
