    • live in the households everywhere on Earth
    • they were domesticated in Egypt – they were used to hunt mice in the fields
    • cats have very flexible body and sharp claws
    • they live 15 – 20 years
  • 3. Wildcat s
    • wildcats live in the deep forests of Slovakia
    • t hey usually rest during the days and are active at nights – they prey small animals
    • color of their fur is grey-brown with stripes on the back, tail and legs
    • wildcat is solitary – lives alone
  • 4. What do they eat?
    • Cats eat mice, birds, rabbits, lizards and granula at home
  • 5. What do they look like?
    • f lexible body – good for hunting
    • l ength - 80cm
    • t ail - 30cm
    • w eigh - 3 - 9kg
    • fur on their body can be short or long and of different color
    • w ildcat has bigger head with long whiskers and smaller ears
  • 6. Kittens
    • c ats breed 3 - 6 kittens in spring
    • after their birth they are blind and eat milk
    • they love to play
  • 7. Curiosities
    • w hen cat s are happy, their tail is straight and high, when cat s want to play their tail looks like ? and they hop around
    • c at is not protected by law
    • c ats don't like water, but they can swim
    • they can see 6 times better then we can
    • they can hear better then dog
