      • When writing your Strama remember :
        • Company’s strategies are generally marketing oriented.
        • Use Fred David’s book as your reference in writing your Strama where majority of 13 suggested strategies in his book are marketing actions. (e.g. marketing penetration, backward and forward integration)
      • Ideally you should take your Strama and Markma within the same year.
      • Historically since 1998, majority of Strama paper have been written with Marketing objectives.

      • Selecting a subject company:
        • You can select the company where you work but make sure to ask for permission because of confidential information.
        • Select local, stand alone business organization. Registered and operating in the Philippines. Stand alone company means they do not get signal from somebody else outside of the country to run the business. The company’s financial statement should include only registered Philippine operation.
        • Remember when you write your Strama think as if you are the CEO of the subject company.

      • Selecting a subject company:
        • The company should be 2 or more years in business operations (live and legitimate). Choose a company that already have a track record, a company that you can maintain or improve further.
        • The business worth should be at least 5M. Remember: Write Strama for a company that is worth writing.
        • Operate with at least 5 employees (not outsourced).
        • Not a government agency (e.g. BIR, International Institution like ADB or WHO).
        • Not Ateneo University.

      • 3 Basic Requirements for Strama:
        • Meet the deadline. You should submit the draft of your Strama 30 days before the end of the term (at least 100 pages). If you will submit in another 30 days, you will be penalize by deducting 0.5 on your grade in the defence. There is maximum of 120 days from the end of the term before you defend your paper.
        • Preparation of the paper . Support your Strama with data .
        • Strama paper should be scholarly written.
