Vaslui County Education
               History
• The first public school of the Vaslui County was open in Barlad
  Septembre 1st 1832(50 students).
• In 1840, public schools were opening in Vaslui, Iordache Golescu
  beeing the first teacher of Vaslui.
• In 1846, in Barlad, was born the future National College “Gh. R.
  Codreanu”(158 years of existence).
• In 1890, in Vaslui, was opened the first high school which will
  have the name of the great Romanian politician and historical
  Mihail Kogalniceanu.
• In 1859, open their doors the rural schools from Cretesti, Valeni
  and Ivesti.
• The 29th of Novembre 1870, open its doors the first Normal
  School of the county and later, in Vaslui, will function the
  Normal School for primay teachers , “Stephen the Great”.
• In the county there many centenary school (10 schools and high
  schools).

Vaslui County Education History • The first public school of the Vaslui County was open in Barlad Septembre 1st 1832(50 students). • In 1840, public schools were opening in Vaslui, Iordache Golescu beeing the first teacher of Vaslui. • In 1846, in Barlad, was born the future National College “Gh. R. Codreanu”(158 years of existence). • In 1890, in Vaslui, was opened the first high school which will have the name of the great Romanian politician and historical Mihail Kogalniceanu. • In 1859, open their doors the rural schools from Cretesti, Valeni and Ivesti. • The 29th of Novembre 1870, open its doors the first Normal School of the county and later, in Vaslui, will function the Normal School for primay teachers , “Stephen the Great”. • In the county there many centenary school (10 schools and high schools).
