    1. Come in quietly and take your seat
    2. Place materials on desk
    3. Take out HW assignment
    4. Write down HW assignment in agenda book

    Let’s see if you can correctly set up your magnetic journals into 4 quadrants…
    1. Remove the tiles from the magnetic journal
    2. Replace the tiles in the magnetic journal. Make sure you place them in the correct quadrant.
  • OBJECTIVES:

    2. decode words with specific patterns

    WORD: ask a student to make – tibon the board
    Let’s tap it
    Is there a digraph? Why is it not a digraph?
    Remember: tibis not a word, we call it nonsense word.
    Nonsense words:
    Not a word
    Helps us apply the sounds and make longer words
    Helps us apply skills in reading
